Substantially harder and heavier than steel, tungsten carbide-lined container grinds faster and with less contamination. It provides high resistance to abrasion and offers long-wearing with very high efficiency. Dish and lid are constructed of steel shells with tungsten carbide inserts; puck and ring are made of solid tungsten carbide.
