The XPert Nano enclosures features a space-saving design — no separate filtered exhauster is requiredand runs with low decibel-level operation. The interior sides, baffle, air foil and integral work surface are all 304 stainless steel. The exterior is glacier white and gray, dry powder epoxy-coated aluminum and steel. The hood has a pre-wired fluorescent lamp and switches for blower and light. The front sash is 1/4" (0.6 cm) thick tempered safety glass. The ergonomic angled and hinged sash pivots upward, locks in the “up” position, and has a wiping seal to contain contaminants. The 5' and 6' models incorporate an external gas-assist lift.
Enclosures feature ergonomic air foil with aerodynamic Clean-Sweep airflow openings, and baffle pivots down or may be removed for cleaning. Models with built-in ionizer neutralizes static charge on interior surfaces by emitting ions in the airstream, which helps reduce weighing errors and minimizes powders being attracted to the surface.
The top-accessible exhaust ULPA filter is 99.999% efficient on particles as small as 0.12 microns. Optimal filter location permits leak scanning of entire surface. Filter features true bag-in/bag-out filter disposal system (requires certified technician), and the built-in blower has a dynamically-balanced, vibration-isolated motorized fan and speed control. Blower has a 40% reserve so the speed may be adjusted as needed by a certified technician as the filter loads. The Guardian airflow monitor continuously monitors airflow with a green LED that glows when airflow is within set point range and a red LED that glows and an audible alarm that sounds when airflow is outside set point range. Enclosure features a intrinsically safe, negative pressure plenum design and pressure gauge to monitor filter loading.
Note: All models require a supporting stand. The telescoping base stand are constructed of 1 ¾” tubular steel and are adjustable in 1” increments from 27 ½ to 35 ½” high. Stands have fixed feet.
