Select crucibles made from 95% Pt-5% Au (borate fusion) or 100 % zirconium (peroxide fusion). Platinum/gold crucibles are available with or without flared top. Flared top adds rigidity and enhances the pouring action.

Select heavy models with thicker walls and bottom for greater durability, longer lifespan, and better temperature control.
