Cole-Parmer® Platinum Inoculation Loops and Needles without Handle

Platinum inoculating loops used to select, inoculate, or transfer microbiological samples

Used for culturing, transferring, streaking or isolating tissue cultures in cytology or histology, these platinum inoculating loops are durable and able to resist exposure to acid and flame better than nichrome wire. They are made of B&S platinum wire with iridium or rhodium added for rigidity. This allows the use of thinner wire for delicate work. Loops have an inside tolerance of +/-0.02 mm to ensure accurate delivery.

Calibrated inoculating loops 01850-00 and 01850-02 are ideal for milk samples. Order insulated loop and needle holder (04396-40 or 04396-41) separately.
