Transparent polycarbonate cover and blue polypropylene base are durable and can withstand full vacuum when used according to instructions. Desiccator body is compatible with all solid desiccants including acids and alkalis. PTFE stopcock accepts 1/4" ID tubing and is located on the desiccator''s body making the cover easier to handle. Gasketless design requires only grease to make cover airtight and the recessed rim keeps the grease off your benchtop when cover is set down. For room temperature use only; do not autoclave. Desiccator takes any standard 230-mm desiccator plate, such as 06521-00 (order separately).
