These carbon block and radial flow cartridges are an inexpensive and effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants commonly found in tap water. These are ideal for taste and odor control as part of a water treatment system. Each cartridge is wrapped with a polypropylene outer layer and netting to prevent premature clogging of the carbon block. Choose from a wide range of filter cartridge options depending on the specific contaminants that you need to eliminate.
Radial flow filters are designed for water to flow from outside into the cartridge core. This allows for high flow with low pressure drop, ideal for point-of-entry (POE), and industrial high flow applications. Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) effectively reduces chlorine, sediment, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) making your drinking water safer and improving overall taste. This media has been acid washed to reduce carbon fines, prevent pH spiking, and improves rinse up time. This carbon cartridge features a 90 micron polypropylene outer shell and a 25 micron inner spiral wound core.
