Certification on ultrasonic cleaners is performed using NIST-traceable instruments to measure the total power in the cleaner as well as performing industry standard efficacy tests to ensure that the ultrasonic cleaner is operating according to specifications. If the ultrasonic cleaner has a timer or temperature display, the accuracy of those will be compared to NIST-traceable standards.
