Manufactured from USP Type I borosilicate glass, these ampules conform to the hydrolytic resistance requirements outlined in USP and EP 3.2.1. They provide maximum solution stability and allow for easy hermetic sealing. Pre-scored constricted portion of the stem allows for safe and easy opening, eliminating the need for a special ampule file.

Methods of sealing include tip or pull. Short-stem ampules are tip-sealed, while trimmed stem ampules are pull-sealed.
