Cole-Parmer® XRF window film serves as the sample window over our X-Cell sample cups, allowing for uniform transmission of x-rays while effectively containing the liquid sample.
Ultralene® film offers the best balance between X-ray transmission, chemical resistivity, strength, and purity. The 4 µm (0.16 mil) thickness allows for a greater degree of X-ray transmission and makes it ideal for light-element analysis. It is heat resistant up to 100 °C (212 °F) and is reasonably resistant to acids, bases, and many organic chemicals, but can be attacked by aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons.
