Polypropylene film is heat resistant up to 100 °C (212 °F). It is reasonably resistant to acids, bases, and many organic chemicals, but can be attacked by aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons. It may contain trace levels (ppm) of Ca, Zr, P, Fe, Zn, Cu, Ti, and Al.
