The advanced monitoring and filter system act with synergy to ensure a safe working environment. This advanced monitoring system continuously senses both hydrocarbon output and air velocity levels. The LED screen displays airflow, filter type and application, and filter saturation level and lets you know immediately if you are working in safe conditions. Audible and visual alarms alert you to reduced airflow, filter condition, blower failure, and maximum time allowance.
The filter system incorporates a prefilter, a primary filter, and a secondary safety filter to provide added protection. The prefilter(s) protects the primary and secondary filters from dust particles, smoke, acid mists, and other submicron particles. Choose from four filter types in the tables below. The activated hydrocarbon filter provides a high degree of adsorbency<emdash>ideal for organic vapors, odors and fumes, including alcohols, acetone, xylene, and methylene chloride. Choose the mineral acid filter for hydrochloric and nitric acids and the formaldehyde filter for formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde. The HEPA filter has an efficiency rating of 99.997% for collecting particles down to 0.3 microns<emdash>use for containment of particles such as toxic powders, asbestos, and lead. Hoods measure 48"H x 28"D.
