More About this Item
The MiniBio range of bioreactors is a true scale-down of the traditional laboratory bioreactor, which means you are able to achieve high-throughput bioreactor cultivation without sacrificing the quality of your experiment. All materials of construction are proven to be nontoxic and chemically inert. The MiniBio is a cost-effective solution that can be customized to fit the demands of any lab. A minimal footprint is required for all system components, yet the MiniBio's are also fully scalable to larger laboratory reactors. The MiniBio systems provide for working volumes as small as 50 mL fully instrumented, and fully controlled vessel. The mechanically coupled agitator allows mixing up to 2000 rpm in even viscous media or high-density cultures.
The head plate includes ports for pH, DO sensors, a septum, foam and level sensor, overlay, chemostat, thermowell for temperature sensor, sparger aeration (L-sparger or porous sparger), multiple liquid inlets, sample pipe and exhaust condenser.
Easily handle your data through the intuitive my-Control controller. The my-Control has six control loops (pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, foam, level, and rpm). A single interface can control up to 32 parallel my-Controllers. User can configure for both microbial and cell culture applications. Control parameters include batch, fed-batch, perfusion, and continuous cultivation. The PID control will auto tune and adapt to your experiment parameters even when the process conditions change. Choose to operate through your web browser, iPod®, iPhone®, or iPad®, Android™, or Windows® system. The user has configurational freedom — connect any actuator to any sensor input and create a new control loop. The software runs within each controller so if you lose connection with the PC, the process is not interrupted.
Each MiniBio bundle comes with the BioXpert Lite software for data acquisition, which is compatible with Windows 7, Vista or XP operating systems.
